About Us

Love Makes Room is not an organization. It is a way of being. This website is simply a resource and convening hub for neighbors coming together to help affordable housing options become a reality in our city and neighborhoods. Love Makes Room is a desire birthed out of the Mills Church congregation to open space on the church property for affordable housing.  Through this one particular project, we have met really wonderful neighbors, groups, organizations, and other faith communities who have been making room and supporting the creation of affordable housing in Minnetonka, Hopkins, and surrounding communities.
